Magesh T. Rajan, Ph.D., P.E., MBA, is a senior higher education executive with a track record of building ecosystems that sustain student opportunity, strengthen institutions and expand public impact. Since 2019, Rajan has served as vice president for Research, Innovation and Economic Development at Prairie View A&M University, a member of The Texas A&M University System. In this role, he leads the university’s research and innovation enterprise, including research advancement, sponsored programs, compliance, undergraduate research, commercialization, strategic partnerships and economic development.
